Meet the Staff of Community Dental Center
Doris Allen, DDS, MPH, Director-
Dr. Allen graduated from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1988. Received her Masters in Public Health from The University of Michigan in 1989. Doris pursued a career in private practice and oral health research before becoming director of Community Dental Center in 1996.
Anne Bibik, RN, DDS, Family Dentist-
Dr. Bibik received her RN degree from Mercy College in 1978. After many years experience in general health care, she decided to attend dental school. Dr. Bibik graduated from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1989. She operated a solo private practice dental office until 1998. She has been employed at Community Dental Center since June of 1998. Dr Bibik exhibits strong clinical skills in all aspects of general dentistry.
Phillip Richards, DDS, MS, Periodontist-
Dr Richards provides periodontal patient care at Community Dental Center one day per week. Dr. Richards earned his DDS in1984 and his MS in 1988 from The University of Michigan. He began his career as a dental educator at The University of Michigan in 1984, where he has served continuously as a faculty member.
Darlene Jones, Hygienist-
Ms. Jones received an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Lakeland College in 1975. She brings 26 years of experience to her position at Community Dental Center. She has a special interest in marketing and community outreach. Ms. Jones is in the process of completing a Masters in Public Administration at Eastern Michigan University.
Barbara Yek Massoll, Receptionist-
Ms. Massoll completed the dental assisting program at Ferris State College in 1969. She was first employed at Community Dental Center in 1986. After 10 years of service she left in 1996. Fortunately she returned to Community Dental Center in 1999. She brings excellent organizational skills from her 32 years of experience.
Carolyn Thomas, Dental Assistant-
Ms. Thomas provides excellent dental assisting skills to Community Dental Center. She completed the dental assisting program at Kirkwood Community College in 1982. Ms. Thomas was in private practice for 6 years before coming to Community Dental Center. She has been employed at Community Dental Center for eleven and a half years.
